Rare Bauhaus side table in an exceptional design

Vintage Tafelaufsatzschale von Mappin und Webb für Mappin und Webb Silberton Dekoration Juni/23 An Italian bottle cooler fromThis centerpiece by Mappin and Webb from England, circa 1900, showcases classic silversmithing in a clear, almost sculptural form. Three shell shaped dishes are united in a serene composition and held together by a central handle. The silver plated surface bears a patina and fine signs of use, as expected from objects of this age. On the table, the piece functions as a bowl for nuts and sweets, as well as a quiet, gleaming centerpiece. Details:
