Amazing Claudio Jimenez Peruvian Mixed Media Retablo Signed green glazed vase 7 1/2" long x 5"What a thing! The level of detail in this vintage Peruvian retablo just blows me away with layers upon layers of simultaneous drama painstakingly packed into an 8" x 10" inch space. (Detail photos tell the story best.) It thus comes as no great surprise that it is signed on the back Claudio Jimenez, I believe attributing it to internationally renowned maker of retablos Claudio Jimenez Quispe, from a famous family of retablo makers in Ayacucho, Peru,
