Description

I'd guess mid- to late 19th century

I don't know anything about the history of this old hand puppet

and this is one of my favorites I've found

the squiggly line for a mouth

Whittled and Painted Toy Slingshot antique wooden boxers toy I'd guess mid- to lateNot a lot of whole lot of carving went into this one, but someone certainly chose a good branch, flattened down one side a bit, and whittled the tips, then painted them silver and red. In perfect shape to put into play again, though also nice just an object sitting around latent with potential. 9" x 3 1 8" x 11 16" and in very good vintage condition.
