Description

A cultural tradition in Southest Asia practiced for thousands of years

I think this is just about a perfect object

and great fun to arrange and photograph

and the placement of the incised concentric circles of the eyes

Little Lamb (or Maybe a Dog?), Sweet Old Carved Animal yarn on linen sampler A cultural tradition in SouthestI take this as a little lamb, but I seem not to very good at identifying animals! A sweet old carved creature whatever the case, I might guess German, but don't know for sure. Late 19th early 20th c. I would guess. 3" l measured on the square x 2 3 4" t x 1 1 8" w. Good condition, great patina.
