La Crosse Pinks - Wisconsin - Vintage Defunct Baseball Teams - Unisex Sweatshirt Size:3XL opening along Collins Avenue inLa Crosse claimed its place in organized baseball when the Pinks joined the Wisconsin Illinois League in 1908. Class D ball meant small towns and smaller crowds, but it gave river cities like La Crosse a stake in the national pastime.
