Chemboys - Citric Acid 5 LB Ventilation Use traps in greenhousesUse Chemboys Citric Acid to help treat soil alkalinity. If your soil has high alkalinity for a particular plant, citric acid can be mixed in with the soil to help raise the soil's pH. In low doses, Chemboys Citric Acid can be a beneficial repellent of certain organisms and pests. Citric Acid lies below 4. 0 on the pH scale, meaning that it is acidic and potentially corrosive. The optimal pH for plant growth is between 5. 5 and 7. 5
